Launch Pad is a student-led platform designed to connect high school students with safe, verified internship and volunteer opportunities. Our team collaborates with trusted local businesses, startups, NGOs, and family-run ventures to provide students with real-world experience. We also offer quick skill-learning resources, templates, and guided support to help students prepare for their roles. Upon project completion, students can earn digital certificates, badges, and letters of recommendation to strengthen their college applications.
Our platform includes a peer-to-peer community for advice and provides parents/schools with oversight for safety. Our goal is to make internships accessible, skill-based, and meaningful for ambitious students while offering organizations motivated young talent.
Our Founder
Sanvi Bhandari
When Sanvi Bhandari began searching for internships and mentors as a high school student, she quickly realized how limited those opportunities were—especially for capable students without the “right” connections. What started as her personal struggle soon became a mission to level the playing field. Determined to change the system, she founded Launchpad—a student-led platform connecting peers to internships, mentors, and real-world exposure. Today, Launchpad has helped 200+ students discover pathways that once felt out of reach. Sanvi’s journey reflects her belief that potential should never be limited by access. With empathy and innovation at the heart of her leadership, she continues to build spaces where every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to grow beyond boundaries.
